For Our Veterans and Soldiers
Mentoring Program
Project Goal
To support the personal growth and development of the unit’s veterans and to help build the next generation of leaders.
About the Project
The Yahalom Foundation offers its veterans a mentoring program tailored to each individual’s needs. Whether it’s business guidance, career development, family and relationships, or any other defined goal, the process is fully personalized in a 1:1 mentorship format. The mentors are senior figures in the Israeli economy - above all, people with a big heart and a strong desire to give back. The program’s purpose is to provide veterans with guidance, mentorship, and support from an experienced professional with broad knowledge across different fields, someone who can help set the path and ease the transition into today’s reality. The target audience includes veterans of the unit, including combat support soldiers who served significantly both in regular and career service. Participants are men and women ages 26–36, most of whom have completed academic studies, begun their careers, and in some cases started families. What they all share is the drive to achieve a particular goal or aspiration. Each mentoring cohort includes about 20 unit veterans who receive close, personal guidance from an experienced mentor, a leader in their field.

For Our Veterans and Soldiers
The foundation aims to serve as a supportive anchor for soldiers and their families at every stage of life, even years after their military service has ended. Additionally, it works to build a global network of communities that supports the Yahalom Foundation in particular, and the State of Israel as a whole.
